Flipit
Privacy policy

Flipit is made by Sterling E Solutions. This page says what Flipit collects, why, and who else touches it. It is written to be read.
What we collect
- Your account. Name and email address, from the sign-in provider you choose (Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Apple or email). We never see your password for those providers.
- Photos you upload. Stored privately. They are never public and never shown to other users. They are sent to the AI service to identify the item and to eBay when you publish a listing.
- Listings, scans and sales you record. Titles, prices, notes, status and the AI's analysis. This is your inventory, and it stays in your account.
- Your ship-from postal code and country, if you enter them. eBay requires them to create a listing.
- An eBay authorization token, if you connect eBay. It is encrypted at rest and lets Flipit publish and end listings on your behalf. You can disconnect at any time from Settings, and Flipit never sees your eBay password.
- Usage counts. How many analyses and scans you have run, to apply your plan's allowance and to stop abuse.
What we do not collect
- Card numbers. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We see that you paid and what plan you have, not your card.
- Your location. Photos are analysed for the item in them, not for where they were taken.
- Anything from your eBay account beyond the listings Flipit created.
Who else handles it
- Base44 hosts the app, the database and the photo storage.
- Google Gemini, through Base44, identifies items from your photos. Photos are sent for analysis and not used to train models under Base44's terms.
- eBay receives your listing content and photos when you publish, and returns price data for your scans.
- Stripe processes payments and holds your billing details.
Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or share your data with advertisers.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. Delete a listing or a scan and its data and photos are removed. To delete your whole account, email us from the address you signed up with and we will remove it within 30 days.
Your choices
- Disconnect eBay any time in Settings. Listings already on eBay stay live there.
- Cancel a paid plan any time from Settings; you keep access until the period ends.
- Export your listings as CSV whenever you like.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the app tells you on your next sign-in.
